Biography JAMES TAYLOR CURTIS Was born March 21st 1976 in Landstuhl, Germany to his Air Force parents. He was the youngest of three children. He and his two sisters were introduced to the world of music at a very young age. They performed on stage with there mother & father as a family band entertaining military troops. By his fathers side Curtis would play his own little guitar, sing and steal the show. It was very clear that his love and natural abilities were going to take him to the top as an entertainer. Curtis and his family move to Nashville Tennessee, there couldn’t have been a better time and location. Curtis was old enough to let his young talent grow. Seeing and meeting some of Nashville’s Biggest Country Legends: Johnny Cash, George Jones, Waylon Jennings's, and Keith Whitley just to mention a few, was a real education for Curtis. Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and other Rock and Roller’s were tearing up the radio and TV, allowing Curtis to gain the knowledge of both worlds Country and Rock Music which has proved to be a very valuable part of Curtis musical talent. After graduating Land O Lakes High School Curtis he enrolled at Florida Metropolitan University. However, college life could not compete with his love and desire to entertain with his own music. Curtis has set his goals and put then in motion. Curtis has written his own original material and is currently recording his third CD titled “That’s The Way We Roll”. Curtis is a accomplished Singer/Songwriter and Entertainer, he organized his coast to coast traveling road band “ Silver Eagle Band “ Curtis and the Silver Eagle Band performs approximately 250 dates per year at Casino’s, Club’s, Festival’s, Fair’s, Concert’s and other large venue’s thought-out the United States. Curtis and his Silver Eagle Band has open and performed with some of country music’s biggest artist such as: Rascal Flatts, Big & Rich, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Lonestar, and many other major recording artist. Curtis has numerous radio, TV and Internet interviews under his belt which validates his large national fan base. James Taylor Curtis has his own true original style that is Pure, Honest and comes “Straight from his Heart” Curtis and his Silver Eagle Band as achieved widespread popularity that entertains and thrills his audiences roughly 250 dates a year. Curtis has performed at many famous venues such as: Wild Horse Nashville Tn, Cowboys Dothan Al, Hilton Grand Las Vegas, Whiskey River Macon, GA. Cowboy Bills Key West FL, Hard Rock Casino, Boneshakers Virginia Beach, VA James Taylor Curtis has just recorded a new heart touching song titled “Hush” the song was co written with his sister and his mothers added vocals is sure to bring a “Tear to your eye” and “Love to your Heart” The song has become a theme song for the Children’s Cancer Center of Tampa Florida, 100% of all proceeds goes to Children’s Cancer Center of Tampa Florida.
