Paper Machete is the solo project of singer/songwriter Clifton Peotter, A California native who now lives in Mesa, AZ. Clifton grew up around music and picked up guitar when he was 16 and began writing songs. Paper Machete is the solo project of singer/songwriter Clifton Peotter, A California native who now lives in Mesa, AZ. Clifton grew up around music and picked up guitar when he was 16 and began writing songs. Since then, he has been the frontman of numerous bands, written dozens of songs and performed in several concert venues in Arizona, and recorded many demo songs and an EP. He has shared the stage with touring bands We Shot The Moon, The Higher, The Dangerous Summer, Sherwood, I Set My Friends On Fire, Lydia, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and many other local acts; and has won Battle of the Band competitions in his hometown. His former EP gained some popularity with other towns in Arizona and Utah, as well. In his latest solo project, where Clifton writes and records all the music and vocals himself, he wants to take his past background and make music that he's really proud of. "My dream would be for my music to help people realize that the world isn't such a horrible place when you look at it, and we can all find happiness and make our lives worth living." Clifton hopes to release a full-length album, Blueprints For A Better Household, in the Spring of 2011.
