Phoenix

This song sings of rising to ones strength and the purpose of renewal for the self. I wrote this song for a dear friend who recently passed away from a motor bike accident. My friend was one brilliant woman who many looked to and learned a lot from. It was after I left her side that I felt liberated and wanted to sing out. Ironically, I found out after this song that she had a phoenix tattoo on her back. “ reborn anew to live again”.
