Alone With My Troubles

It was about 6 hours before my show at NYC's The Living Room when I sat down to my piano. I was about two weeks post-breakup, and with those emotions still running so close to the surface, a new song came forth rather quickly. By the time the gig rolled around, I had a new song, tossed it in front of my band, and opened the set with it. "Alone With My Troubles" is painfully honest account that moment, a desperate cry to simply not be left. It's the thick of heartbreak.. it's the blues.
