The song "Do you care" was written in a cafe and I wasn't in the best of heights as far as my mood. The nature of the song is being angry with the people around you and you the person can't be appreciative for what has been given to you. The scene in which the person has the gun refers to uncontested violence. We hear about the song reminding us what we need to do right and yet we think we are better then other people by not listening to the voice of reason.
