Tobiaz got his start singing back in school. Was in chorus for five years and was promoted to select chorus after that Iaz was involved in some minor theatre with limited lines still it was an element of acting. Then radio came calling when Iaz could be heard on the Top 10 at 10 on Fly 92 as one of the many guest disc jockeys that people would probably not forget. Before Iaz became a became music artist it was all about listening to the radio and Iaz became good at saying this is Chris Brown with his song called "Run it" in position four on the Top 10 at 10. It was something like that. Before landing focus into music Iaz had already met different disc jockeys from Fly 92 and XL 106.7 in Orlando. In 2001 Iaz started the real focus on the music being involved in a local talent show in the Saratoga County Fairgrounds which eventually led the artist to Brant Lake in the Adirondacks to work with "Ray Wright" someone Iaz met the Glens Falls Music Scene. Iaz and Wright hit it off for what would be the start of songs from Collection 7 "Horizon" the set that would land the artist on the map in the Saratoga Springs music scene. 7-3 "Upstate Boy" was the first song to later become a hit in that city's scene. Then came time to hit the local Open Mics up first was "Bailey's Cafe" in the city's "Downtown East section" Soon after that Caffe Lena's Open Mic. In Lena there was one artist that impacted Iaz so much she was then 19 year old Jes Hudak. The artist first hit with "Upstate Boy" which connected with the crowd that led to a one song studio deal as well to be interviewed on Skidmore's 91.1 fm in January 2003. The first studio track "Upstate Boy" was recorded in April 2003 and first was played on 91.1 fm after it was recorded. The song would eventually land on radio station 102.7fm on a local radio show called "Exposure" for six straight weeks. That same year I landed a word of mouth studio deal and recorded near the Saratoga County Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa most of the recordings in my book were not good and the songs never ended up on myspace or an actual album that went to the street. In June of 2003 I landed my first show at the club "The Lagoon" in Glens Falls the club closed down. I played to a crowd of 14 that night. Intro to Tobiaz EP {Expanded} was released in 2005 mainly as a cd to give it to the fans for free as some money was made from the disc. Three singles were released from the disc including "Upstate Boy" "dirty little secret" and "Who can you trust" Iaz was involved in two local talent contests one was a Karaoke contest in Club Caroline in Saratoga Springs as well as Capital Region Idol which was held in Six Flags/Great Escape Theme Park in Queensbury. In August 2006 Epic Records artist Cheyenne Kimball was playing in Boston and I handed her my double EP which was the 8 song "Intro to Tobiaz EP" {Expanded} as well as the four song second EP "Pathways EP" both were handed out mainly to the fans and I made some money. In August 2006 I played two very important shows my first festival which was the "Lake George Festivus" handing the artist the biggest crowd to date. and later in the month the "Emerging Artist Series" in Caffe Lena a Saratoga Springs venue. In January 2007 Tobiaz played NYC for the first time after recording the song "Everything Falls" In August 2007 Iaz played the opening slot for the band "The Erotics" the sound person running the show said "Iaz was the best artist for the night" That same month Iaz added lyrics for the track "All I want" by Lazy Fingers or "Steve Hall" I heard Steve play this song in Saratoga Springs and you can sense the impact from this song so I added lyrics and called the song "All you want" and it was the first track I recorded in Arp Studios in Greenfield outside Saratoga Springs. In September 2007 Iaz played in Glens Falls opening for a new duo called "Charlie Everywhere" and the very popular band in the area "The Mathematicians" another successful night for Iaz playing the opening slot and the crowd went crazy for the cover of Rhianna's "Umbrella" that Iaz played for the first time. In December 2007 Iaz wanted to shift the music in a different direction and ended up in electronica kind of music as first new song "Everybody has an excuse" was recorded. The electronica idea continued with "Feel better" A new version of "Upstate Boy" surfaced in March 2008. In April 2008 Iaz would record the latest electronica song "Around the bend" shortly after that Iaz headed to Nashville and hung out with Josiah Leming who didn't make it into American Idol's Top 24. In Nashville Iaz wrote the song "Like a doll" In May 2008 Iaz played the opening slot for the band "The Erotics" again in Albany. August 2008 saw the recording of the second song in Arp Studios in Greenfield "You have to believe" Later that month Iaz performed at the Mill Festival which is an all day music festival run set up by the band "The Mathematicians" whirling through a seven song set. In September 2008 Iaz was back in Arp Studios recording a song that shifted the music towards country and that was "A Shift towards country" October 2008 saw the track "Around the bend" land on a local Halloween theme disc called "Do the Fright Thing Volume 1" you can find more information on it on www.sub-bombin.com. Iaz plans on recording more songs in Arp Studios in Greenfield. Iaz headed back to the studio in March 2009 in New York's Saratoga County and recorded 16-1 "Too hot for ya" along with the first dance club track 39-5 "Sidewalks" Iaz has been heading out of state more you can see the artist's videos on youtube. In August 2009 Iaz was back in the studio with Arp Recording for the tracks 40-2 "Making Sense" 22-5 "Electric Waves" and 21-9 "Touch the Sky" September 2009 saw Iaz film "Phantogram" in Saratoga Springs and videos from that are on youtube. Also that month Iaz filmed the videos from Matt and Kim's set from their gig in Albany's "Lark Fest" Iaz plans on heading back into the studio to record some more songs. In October 2009 Iaz finished writing the story "The Tale of the Rainbow Mermaid" That same month 21-9 "Touch the Sky" landed on Do the Fright Thing Volume 2 - Halloween compilation of local artists. In November Iaz rode the bicycle to the state capital "Albany" in slightly less than three hours which is about 40 miles. A snatch before the holiday weekend Iaz recorded two more songs in 27-9 "Into the distance" 35-7 "What's up with a revolution" In December 2009 Iaz headed out of state making stops in cities such as Chicago,Dallas,Memphis, and Cincinnati. Slightly before Navidad the artist landed in West Virginia and spent Christmas and New Year's Eve there. In January 2010 Iaz traveled by bus to Pennsylvania. The first song written this year was in a shelter in West Virginia called 41-2 "Hush" Towards the end of January 2010 Iaz was handed the position as a volunteer for being in charge of music at a resource center in the suburbs of "Pittsburgh" After getting used by two specific people in Feburuay 2010 Iaz continued to spend time in a motel,a cold weather shelter, as well as some nights on the street. In March 2010 more than hundred dollars of Iaz's money came up missing. The scale Iaz uses for grading talent is "Talent" "Vocals" and "Impact" Most artists fail to make the grade with Iaz when it comes to "Impact" In June 2010 Iaz started writing "The Tale of Scary City" In the Summer of this year Iaz is still looking forward to getting booked at venues like "Red Square" "Revolution Hall" and "Northern Lights" After five weeks being back in the Albany Region the music artist is looking to shift again to another city that is going to make it a lot easier for Iaz to make it to the next level. Iaz has worked with the following in the studio Danny Garcia,Justin West,Vitamin D,Ian Nichols, and Vinny Arpey {Who was behind Jes Hudak's "Tiny Dream CD"} Iaz opened for "Charlie Everywhere" in September 2007 in a club called "Hot Shots" in Glens Falls the duo changed their name to "Phantogram" and ended up getting signed to an independent label. Already a resident of three different states and has traveled to Montreal twice and has been as far as "Texas" Iaz brings a lot to the table. Songs like the moody and dreary track that implies several things in 26-9 "I need a new life" {remix} the relationship with eating something in 35-4 "Feel better" or the track that the ex boyfriend of a struggling girl needs to hear without swearing in 36-1 "The Kiss off {La la la la} In August 2011 Iaz headed out for a bicycle trip that traveled through six different states with a first ever stop in "Rhode Island" as well as "Hampton Beach" along with "Old Orchard Beach"  The story "The Tale of Scary City" is finished. Plans are to start work on a new story called "The Tale of the Haunted College" In December 2011 a New Hampshire based newspaper had an interview about the artist. In New Hampshire Iaz ended up writing a lot of new songs like 44-7 "In these days" 45-1 "Fall Asleep" 45-9 "Year of Promise" and 45-10 "Warm the Seat" As of right now Iaz plans on writing the remaining songs for Collection 45 "Colorful Room" and work on Collection 46 "Beautiful Darkness" Preview videos have been posted on youtube and facebook. 43-7 "You fear it" a spooky song I wrote before Halloween landed on the 3rd Compilation series called "Do the Fright Thing" As of February 2013 I decided to go for a first ever Winter Trek Across the Northeast with my bicycle and my stuff. I ended up getting hit with an intense cold in Manchester during Leg 5. I am currently recovering in the state capital city of Concord from this sickness. I hope to write new songs and shoot new videos as well as see some good music in this city as well as gear up for a return to the studio to record later this year. 47-1 "Forward" most likely will end up being the song with a new preview video since I am still writing the song and think it is a very good song to represent Collection 47 "Incrementalism" I have been surrounded by aweome people here in the capital and there are a lot of resources in this area as well. Can't wait till these new songs are written and I an film some new preview videos and look to recording certain songs for the studio. Iaz likes long walks and long bicycle rides. Iaz doesn't smoke and hardly drinks. Check in with the the artist's music and updates  www.youtube.com/user/uslixirish ourstage.com/profile/tobiaz
