Unspoken Notion was formerly the underground scene’s turntablist Cannabis Clarke of C. L. Records. However, after life changes, he has retired those entities. To his friends and family he’s known as Matt Clark. Matt starting spinning records in 1988 for small house parties for family and friends at the young age of 7, and aggressively progressed in his teenage years playing clubs and various events around the Mid-West to; as an adult, playing all over the globe at various private events, nightclubs, and festivals. With his business savvy, various experiences, education, and travels, Matt knows what to expect and what a great DJ/Producer needs. This is why in 2008 he opened Simplicity 26 Records / Com’ere Productions with his bestfriend Eddie Hudson (Multi Platinum Award Winner; The Fugees, Missy Elliot, Alicia Keys, Biggie Smalls, Tupac), and made the move to the commercial market. Sense then he has hosted many events and been focusing on the American market. Today, the company has expanded to Selustive Notion International the parent corporation of Simplicity 26 Records and Com'ere Productions, but as well as, his new companies Phunky Phamous Entertainment and STIX Distribution. He has also partnered up with such producers as Mike Matthews (known for his work with Peter Presta), his good friend Fitzerynold Cadet (Former bass Guitarist of Carimi an International French Carribean Band), and Arty Skye (14 Gold/Platinum Records, 8 #1 Billboard Hits, Grammy Nominated, 3M Visionary Award Winner), www.skyelabmusic.com. Together they bring their companies and skills together to help artist achieve their career goals. Currently He is working with Hip/hop, R&B artist Manny Rebel, and R&B artist Ella Rene; and Hip-Hop artist The United Empire (www.tueofficial.com). Most importantly he knows how to deliver to his fans and sticking to his roots, he still spins vinyl; and only vinyl (or control vinyl).
