Recreate The Panic is an original hard rock/metal band from Howell, NJ that came together in August 2009. The band consists of Don "CAPS" Capolupo on vocals,David Appelson on Rhythm, Chris Moore on bass and Chris "DENN" Denisewicz on Drums. They draw there influences from many diff styles of music from Rock to Rap. Lately the band has been getting a lot of attention from their local venue The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. The band has played the Pony twice since the band has formed and already the venue has taken a great liking to them. Every time a show is played they are always asked to come back whenever there is an opportunity. Upon playing there 6th show, which was at the stone pony, they performed at the Best Buy Battle of The Bands and advanced to the 2nd round. They are looking to expand where they play and hope to get to more venues within the tri-state area. Other venues that they have played so far are High Velocity in Beachwood, the XXXV Club in Sayreville, and The Saint in Asbury Park but they like to call the Stone Pony their home venue. The band is still trying to build up their small but yet growing fan base. As for most bands there first fans were fellow friends and family. As they promote themselves more and more they gain more fans per show and through mostly online promotion. There fan base grows everyday by promoting themselves all over the internet and around the area in hopes that people would enjoy what they have to offer. They communicate with their fans within many ways. They do it at shows and through any of the sites they are on. Whether it is MySpace or Facebook or at our shows, we love the fans and what they have to say. Our fans are like family, they are always there for us and we will always be there for them. Recreate the Panic also tries to find other ways to get their band exposed. They do so by sending out there CD and information to local radio stations in hopes that they would have their music played and come by to be interviewed to tell the radio world about themselves and what they are all about. For most of the bands out there they have better luck with college radio stations since they are easier to get onto. The band is currently trying to set things up with Monmouth Universities 88.9 the X and Seaton Hall Universities 89.5 Pirate Radio since they play more of the style that the band performs. They plan to get on the air and have their music played and also set up an on air interview. They will still try to get there music on the airwaves of the mainstream local rock station 95.9 The Rat and many other radio stations around the world and on the internet. They are also looking to expand their endorsements/sponsorships as well. Currently they are endorsed by local percussion company Dark Horse Percussion. The band has many plans for the future. They are currently saving up the money that they make from the shows they get paid from to record their 5 song EP which will be titled “Now Is a Good Time to Panic!” which will be recorded and released sometime by the end of 2010. They also plan on doing touring as well in the near distant future. The band has put out a Live CD which was recorded and mixed at their June 15th, 2010 show at the Stone Pony. It consists of 5 songs.
