They say, “What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.”􀀀 It was at age 11, when I was struck by the harsh reality of those words. Experiencing the separation and divorce􀀀 of my parents could have come as a death sentence in my young mind, but I learned to deal with it. In fact, it marked􀀀 the start of my growing stronger.􀀀 My Dad gave me a keyboard as a sort of departing gift and said, “Put it to use.” That was the day my music career􀀀 began.􀀀 Pounding on the keys, I gradually learned how to get in tune with my emotions. Before I really knew what mixing􀀀 was, I had mastered the technique using just two keyboards and a tape recorder. Each cord and pulsating beat􀀀 seemed to be in sync with my innermost feelings and eventually evolved into several songs. And, I grew stronger.􀀀 When I moved out of my mother’s house and in with my father, I continued to grow musically. Since music is􀀀 timeless, I found myself taking on grown man duties in my Dad’s studio. I was becoming into a man musically with my􀀀 Dad guiding me along the way. I watched him and learned the basics of making music. Yet, there were other lessons􀀀 to learn.􀀀 I guess you can say that I kind of gave in to peer pressure at my new school But, peer pressure doesn’t always􀀀 mean gang banging and selling drugs. In my case, it meant that we became Untouchables.􀀀 Carlton Davis (Ciology), Rafus Jones (Madd Dogg), Daniel Tohornton (D.A.N.T.), and I, Eric Anthony Jones, Jr.􀀀 (Little E), were the Untouchables. We lived up to our name becoming untouchable in high school talent shows. We􀀀 even got our hustle on and made tapes for all of our friends.􀀀 I had grown from that little boy banging out songs on two keyboards into a local rap star. I continued to take it to􀀀 another level and dropped my first album in 2001 that I co-produced with my cousin, Lance Burden, and was self-ti-􀀀 tled “Edarado Vol. 1”. The streets were bumping to my tracks, and they opened doors for other projects.􀀀 Today, I’m a grown man with a game plan. In 2005, I changed my name to Young RaDo and teamed up with􀀀 Yung Kae T, Fudge Brown, and L Hussle to form the rap group, Circle Boyz that is signed to Loyalty Records LLC.􀀀 “What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.” And, I’m stronger now and ready to take on the streets!􀀀
