Marcomé Inks Canadian Distro Deal With Select Latest Album “River Of Soul” hits Canadian Stores May 29, 2008

Montréal: Montréal singer, songwriter Marcomé (mar-ko-may), recently signed a Canadian record distribution deal with Select. This deal includes the distribution of her two albums on Marco Productions entitled “Seven Seas” Remastered (2006) and the latest “River of Soul”. Both albums will hit stores across Canada on May 29, 2008. The first single and music video taken from “River Of Soul” is entitled “River Of Life” and is currently being played on radio stations across Canada. The distribution deal with Select is based on a three-year term and includes another new release from Marcomé scheduled for 2009. Alain Martineau VP of Sales for Select, recently commented, “We are thrilled to have a homegrown talent like Marcomé on board with us. The first single & music video released entitled “Yeku”, broke into the Top 50 radio airplay chart in the province of Québec. The music video played extensively on Bravo! Television during their ‘Bravo! Videos’ program and played in High rotation on MusiMax music television station for months! Marcomé will be embarking on a Canadian media and retail promotional tour during the summer of 2008, highlighted with live acoustic performances and public appearances.
