People, if you have a problem with anyone or anything here on OurStage, please keep it private and only involve those higher up. All these OS controversies are getting a bit old, to tell you the truth. And you know what? They are always about the same thing! Can we please just enjoy this place and stop all the whining and complaining?

1) The play count on your songs have NOTHING to do with how many times it is being judged. It’s in the FAQ’s. Look it up. 2) It really is impossible to vote someone down unless you spend endless hours judging. And if someone does, they have no life and are wasting it away. Give that a break guys. 3) The percentages on top of the battles mean NOTHING. In the FAQ’s again. Look it up. 4) Voting with or against the masses don’t affect your judging influence. Consistency is the key.

I’m sure I could go on and on. But please, please, please stop sending out the mass emails about one controversy or another. It’s old.

I’m totally speechless with this glowing tribute. I’m so lucky to have a friend like her.

I wanted to let everyone know who tried to get into my party line last night what happened. Apparently OurStage was down for a bit right before the party, so none of the chats, especially the party lines, were working at all the way they should. Every single person, including me and Munson, the person from OurStage assigned to be at my party line, was having HUGE problems getting and have everything work. Finally at about 10:30 EST it started to work. That was an hour and a half AFTER it was supposed to start! So then everyone who was there chatted with me and everyone else for a good 2 hours after that!

I debuted a new track and two of its remixes. They are on my page and are called “Siren’s Song”. The original is a collaboration with Wharton Rise and the remixes are collaborations with McBlaze. Both of these gentlemen were a JOY to work with and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Because I don’t know who tried and who didn’t try to come to the party, I’m giving everyone the link to the free track I promised. I know a lot of people were trying but never made it. So here is my thank you for trying and know that I love you!!!

I have received many emails in regards to selling my music on OurStage. As of right now, I’m sorry but I cannot do that. One of the reasons is that my album isn’t even released yet! If everyone can be patient, you’ll be able to purchase my music on the release date of November 17th. Another reason is that there are some tracks I don’t want to sell, not yet or ever. I CAN’T sell the cover track (don’t want to pay the original artists, lol) and OurStage does not have the option to only make certain tracks available for purchase. It’s a all or nothing thing. So until the release, please be patient!

The last song for “Unseen” is done and up for everyone to hear! It’s called “Silver Threads (Falling Down)”. Please take a few minutes and listen to it and then comment. I would love to get feedback! This track could very possibly be the first single off the album – I still haven’t decided between this one or “Everytime.”

Alright, now for the start of the free cd contest! I mentioned before in a previous blog that “Silver Threads” was totally inspired by a series of fantasy books. Who ever is the first to correctly guess the books and/or series title and the author, wins a free cd before the official release of November 17th! Oh yes my friends, your free cd will be in the first batch of cd’s I mail out as soon as those hot things are in my hands.

Here are your clues.
1. The books are written by a very famous science fiction/fantasy FEMALE author, later teaming up with her son to write more in this series.

2. The original series was a trilogy, with the first book having the copyright date of 1968.

3. There are now 19 books in this series (I had NO idea) and more are still being written.

4. The whole series takes place on another planet that starts with the letter P and is four letters. No, it’s not a swear word, lol!

5. The original books are very fantasy oriented, with fire breathing dragons and the like. The twist is that the dragons are placed in a very favorable light.

6. There have been gamebooks written, Hugo awards won, board games and video games made, a music cd, and a couple attempts of bringing the series to the big screen, all based on this series.

7. The lyrics to my song, “Silver Threads.” While the song is inspired by the books, I didn’t want to use one of the author’s story lines. That would not be legal and plus, I wanted to make my own story! Here are the lyrics:
