To all of you,,,I just want to say, When two songs with so much substance, in talent, and in message, are put side by side, what do you do? Listen for the beat that drives you, or do you go with the honesty and thoughts of the songs topic.? When one sounds better for whatever reason, pro studio, more band members, but carries little or no message to it other than the title, ...do you go with the one presenting soul or heart felt lyrics, or go with the amazing musical talents presented with the pro mastering equipment? Does a song always fit in a certain genre?? If one is obvious enough to all that it is rap,...but the message is from the artists soul, where would it really belong? Very hard for me to judge so many of you guys with these thoughts trying to guide my votes. If music means to you what it means to me, then I would think these would be issues you encounter too. Any resolve to help me with my undecisive mindset? ALL of you deserve my support for just being willing to post an effort as a beginer, where I would say to you, go bubba go !!! or to post such a well defined master of one’s supperb talents, chills go down your spine in amazement, leaving you worshiping the artist. Well thats all, Just know I want only to give my best in correctly bringing the most deserving to the top. And ty to those who have ever voted one of mine over another, not to become # 1 and get saticfaction from beating all those under me, but to know 1209th place but had 1 comment as to how good it was to someone, gives me no money but gains me one contact to someone that may become bonded by soul or just level of abillities. I might be a bit out of context here, but the songs I create have more than just sounds. Many don’t ever find the complete editing that they may need. Reason for this….more important to me is the personal feel of complete that seems to overwhelm me, knowing that I made an image of my thoughts in a song. This image is perhaps unseen to a listener listening to 15 sec. or to the critic listening for the ultimate sound mix. MY POINT. Music IMO is a window to the soul. An expression of feelings, one’s gift to others in a form more colorful than words. To judge them, we must all keep close these truths and first be sure you and I are IN CHECK…THEN CHECK AGAIN by looking for more than perfections. This after all is more for the unheard artist. One’s that don’t have studio time, teams of people working to promote, rather a song from the soul and whatever is available to put thought to sounds. To all of you and all the soul I hear on OURSTAGE, Thank you!! I found myself teary eyed many times while listening and judging. Making clear these thoughts. God Bless all of you.
