What’s up ya’ll ! I want to thank everybody that came out to Artmosphere last night (It was hot fam!!) That was my first time performing at a café, and it definitely was on point. I have to admit, At first it was a little shaky cause everybody was sipping on lattes and typing on laptops, but when the music came on , I could see ya’ll heads nodding. Also special shout outs to New Retro ( ya’ll held it down) and Naima ( for the freestyle jam session you killed it Big Sista). Lastly I want to thank Dyrell Madison, for the jam session. Ayuurrrr! What\’s up ya\’ll!! I haven\’t wrote on of these in a hot minute ( been workin like a slave man). First of I want to say to everybody I went to college with: I MISS YA\’LL MAN!! Like 4 real, ain\’t nothing like going to the diner at like 6 pm and not leaving till 10 just talkin about how Baltimore is betta than DC or who is the hotest rapper in the game, not having a care in the world. Now I be at Ruby Tuesdays servin tables all day everyday( * my side hustle until the tour starts in spring..I am officiallly a starvin artist lol). Second I want to say, Tha Firelane Project EP is now available on Itunes, so pleeaasse cop that joint (because as I stated..I am a starvin artist lol!!!) and also its good music on there man. Oh and for the ladies I put the Facebook Song on the EP as a shout out to all of you!The full length of Tha Firelane Project will be out soon, but please cop the EP as well cause all of those songs won\’t be on there!

Oh yeah and…. I\’ve been workin on this new concept for an album. It will be entitled , \”The First Day\”. The album is about your first day out of college( you got that degree in your hand and now what), first day on the job, first day in the real world, etc. It\’s kinda picking up where Kanye left off with Graduation. I\’m about 6 songs in and..it sounds pretty good!! Matter fact I\’ma post 2 of the joints on facebook, and have you guys post in my honesty box for honest feedback! Your opinon counts!

Just to let ya\’ll know I will be up The University of Maryland tomorrow as a guest speaker for AMST 201. I\’m gettin my hip hop scholar game on !! Watch when I\’m like 45 I\’m tryin to be a Hip Hop professor at like Harvard! Last but certainly not least eh mm , ... I\’m COMING BACK 2 JUKE JOINT TOMORROW OCT. 16 @ 8pm IN THE HOFF THEATRE!!! Whats up ya’ll!!! Last time we spoke, I had just finished performing @ Art Attack ( big ups to Rahzel and The All American Rejects for doin there thug thizzle© Jamie Foxx). Sorry I’ll haven’t written one of these in a minute ( finals week had me stressin) But low and behold..YA BOY GRADUATED!!! * Man it was a loong 4 years but “Momma I made it” (c) Jay-Z. I want to thank everybody that supported me and anyone who ever offered any words of encouragement like ” Boy don’t you have a 9’ oclock 2morrow morning, you betta go back home” or “DK, Did you finish that paper yet”” . I appreciate that cause Lord knows I couldnt have done it by myself. *meaning i have to take a few summer courses but i was still able to walk and my grandmotha was able to see me cross the stage so that all that matters lol!

Now that we’ve covered that, I wanted to tell ya’ll that …drum rolls please… “Used 2 Love Hip Hop”( WAS PLAYED on WPGC 95.5 LAST NIGHT!!! ) WE ON THE WAY HOMIE!!! Man it’s nothing like hearing yourself on the radio for the first time! Its an amazing feeling. Dont get me wrong I love listenin to Chris Brown, Ciara, Lil Wayne, etc., but aint nothing like hearing what you created in the studio one morning at 4 am , finally make it on air!Shoutz out to Hercules and DJ Rico! So I need for all of ya’ll to hit up (202) 432 9595 and request that joint. In order to get this thang rolling I NEED ALL OF YOU GUYS to support and to hit that number up heavy!!! Matter of fact, tell all your lil cousins, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandmothers, aunt’s brother’s daughter’s friends ( you get the point), to call up and request it!! This is the chance we’ve been waitin 4 fam! Last but certainly not least, I got a radio interview on 95.5 next SUN JULY THE 15th @ 8 pm.. and their going 2 premiere the second single entitled, “With Out U”! I’d like to thank everybody for comin thru and showin love and support!!! Me and Ricky greatly appreciate everybody that came out and took time out of their busy schedule to come thru last tuesday and/or 2night!! Because of you guys ..WE WON!!!! Yeah man so we will be opening up for the All American Rejects on May 4th! Also shout out to all the bands that did their thing in the competition!!!

P.S. I’m celebrating this victory by..u guessed it…DOIN A %^$ paper lol!

Whats up ya’ll I haven’t written one of these in a hot minute! First I want to thank everybody that came out to the 4/2 show the Baltimore Room!! Thanks 2 ya'll I made it to the FINAL ROUND OF BATTLE OF THE BANDS!! The last round is THIS TUES 4/10 THA GRAND BALLROOM 7PM!!! So I NEED EVERYBODY 2 COME OUT ONE MORE 'GIN 2 SUPPORT YA BOY! If I win this round then I will be opening up for All American Rejects Bryd Stadium in May which= MY BIGGEST SHOW EVER!(lol).Also this week I will be kicking off BSU Hip Hop Week on Monday breaking down the Elements of Hip HOp! That joint is goin to be fire! Also I will be conducting a Hip HOp Symposium@ Montgomery College. ( ya’ll kno I had to spell check ” symposium” like three times to spell it right..my cousin would say “That’s a $15 dollar word right there”) I will be performing and also will be on a panel discussing how Hip Hop can be used as an educational tool! So this week is stacked.. oh and by the way I got …3 papers and 1 presentation this week as well. So on this lovely Saturday I will be sipping on some Nestle’s Hot Coco, getting cuddled up in my comforter, throwing on some Musiq or John Legend and STUDYIN <insert name my all of wonderful courses up the make that credits 19>. So I’ll holla @ ya’ll and see u at next week’s show(s).
