My song “Run” made it to the finals for the month of March. It’s the second time in two months that I’ve been awarded a channel prize (Coming Home in Rock, February). Run, along with 12 other tracks on my new album “Return to Me,” was recorded by producer Kevin Hupp in Brewster, NY @ the Groove Room.
Run has special meaning to me though. At one point in my life, I had a lot of pretty disappointing things happening to me. My vision was blurred and my mind was closed. I was on the brink of depression but eventually I saw the light and Run was a healing song for me. It took me almost 4 years to record it but it’s finally a reality, along with all the other tracks on this album, that i’ve compiled over the years.
Now I’m ready to release my stories/songs to the world, if they’ll have me. And so far the fans/people on Ourstage have embraced me. I can’t do it without support, so I thank all of you that appreciate good music and our touched by my songwriting. It keeps me going strong.
