5…Play the piano-When I was younger I thought it was corny and stupid, now I regret that thought. Plus chicks dig that shit (I think they still do), just ask Grant Hill.

4…Play the Bass Guitar-Its sort of a black thing I guess, black people love groovy bass songs, what can I say? Not to mention bass players are usually cool mothafuckas, even the white guys are cool on the bass. And its not as fun playing the Bass through my board onto an interface of Garageband or Cubase. :(

3…Compose a Symphony/Read music Excellently-They go hand in hand, this is another thing I wish I would have just done instead of trying to be a “cool kid” because I never EVER got to be one anyway. And I enjoy listening to classical music ever once in a while, I just wish I knew how to do it in the traditional sense; not with computer programs, synths and such.

2…Perfect pitch-Well who wouldn’t want that!? But it would be more for instant instrumental playback especially if I could play the piano or bass like I mentioned. And it would help with my number ONE wish…

....1…”I wish I could, SING!” (really good, i.e. Ruffin, Gaye, D’Angelo or Anthony Hamilton)-If I had a choice of rapping or singing, its going to be singing 100 times out of 100 choices. If I had my wish, I wouldn’t even rap if I got a record deal like 50 Cent or Jay-Z, I’d rathe be an amazing adequately rich known-singer than a SUPER wealthy International rapper. I know that sounds ridiculous, but IMO there is something so much more moving about a great song than a great rap. I’ma leave it there.

(Alot of fast typing, spur of the moment blog so bare with me if things get confusin’)

So, I’ve been asked a few times since I began posting music, “Got any new stuff?”, “Are you putting together an album?”..Well, Yes & YES! check it out..there is plenty of new music to come..& as far as an album..ITS DONE! been done, for like 3 weeks now..I just hit up the engineer to see whats goin’ on with the mix process, hopefully I’ll have it ALL back in a week or so. So I figure if I can get the final mixed and mastered version back in atleast two weeks I’ll do an official release on the last week of April or first week of May (probably the latter). The album is called “From Here To Eternity”, I think its fitting, figuring I hope to leave a legacy of sorts behind, and this is where it starts..HERE and NOW.

OKAY, so after the album is out there..(might I mention, the album is gona be totally FREE.. because its my street album and like a demo & i figure ima make the money down the road.. you’ll be able to download it from my myspace, ourstage or soundclick pages..and when I get some doe ima press up bout 1000 copies w/ casing and full art to whoever is the first to order and i’ll ship the CD to them and the Album’ll still be FREE too!)..then I am gona release a free mixtape called “Crossroads Vol. 1: Kickin’ This Habit” which will consist of songs that I didnt put on the album and just extra material. Hopefully you’ll enjoy both, I really worked hard on the album, so I feel (hope and pray) it will be recieved well.
