its about hesitancy in relationships. i wrote this in our bathroom in anchorage alaska while kat was spending a week alone in mazatlan. it was march and the winter was just letting up in 2006 and this song spurred a week of recording that ultimately produced a five song cd that was used to raise money to help educate high school age kids in kenya (www.projectjambo.org). this was the first recording of the song which had been written earlier that same morning.
