This gospel influenced tune features a lot of 3 part harmony & stripped down acoustic guitars & upright bass. The song is a tribute to my grandmother Hannah. She was the real deal, and I learned so much from her just by watching the way she treated others with such love and genuine compassion. Mother of 8, grandmother and great-grandmother to countless others of us, wife of a farmer/methodist minister, school teacher in a one-room school, this is my way of telling her story.
