You might want to consider leaving the background vocals out - maybe bring the tempo down and add quite a bit of "Belt" to that great voice! Underlay that with a sweet, sweet fiddle to moderate the edge (the one your gonna give it) and I think you got a real good one. The song itself is solid and very enjoyable. Hope this helps some.
