In English the title means "Stolen From Cöthen". Bach's first wife died tragically at his home in Cöthen, Germany while he was away on business. This piece imagines his emotions at the time, including his discovery of new love (his 2nd wife). If I remember correctly (I wrote this awhile ago), this piece is in Bach toccata form, which is five short themes tied together like this: toccata/fugue/adagio/fugue/toccata. Enjoy!
