Low Blue Flame

by Elemental

A little nod to our old-school guitar goth influences with some deep Johnny Cash-esque vocals. The song is about addiction- the repeating cycles, temptation (represented by the Garbage quote in verse 3) and loads of self loathing. The response we're getting from this song is extraordinary- please let us know what you think by leaving a comment. "Down to the Wire" is available at theElemental.com, CDbaby, iTunes, Amazon, and many other fine online music services.

The vocals are like a mix of Johnny Cash and Maynard James Keenan when he sings all deep on "Drunk With Power" on his Puscifer cd "V Is For Vagina."

And the music sounds great!

I love your voice and lyrics...just what I love.

Gotta turn this one up to get the full force of the deep vocals. The low frequencies from my sub tickle me pleasantly in places you can only imagine...

Whoa, I like it! I like the dark texture of the vocals. Nice job on this one!

Hey guys, quite a compliment for Retrogramme from a serious band as yourselves. Thnaks for the motivation! Rob and Nikk

I really like your darker arrangement of Garbage's "Queer" in this- but I think I'd prefer it as a stand-alone cover. Hearing the half-original / half-cover sits odd for some reason. Anyway, keep up the good work. Cheers from the Das Gift crew!

Too cool- make sure to listen for the Shirley Manson quote around the 2 minute mark. Well worth the wait.
