Passionate vocal performance and nice to hear a piano as a primary instrument on a tune...I play piano also. ;) I think it would be better with some different sections in there to make more or a contrast with the chorus. That part is really good, and returning to it from a different section would make it stand out even more...vocals remind me of Lenny Kravitz.
You may be right on Grades Girl, But Hot is HOT, and even people like me recognize and support talent as a fan, which I am now after listening!!!!!!!! Bravo!!!!!
I'm disappointed. Not that being #8 in the semifinals is a bad thing, but what started out looking like a site that promotes talented musicians and claims to "let the fans decide" turns out to smell a little fishy. I can't quite figure out the amount of rotation a song gets during the judging phase prior to the quarterfinals, it seems more like "let the bands and musicians decide", and after many followers, friends, and family members (who are fans in the laymen sense) judge in the semifinals and the order of songs doesn't even budge for the last hour and a half of judging, it makes you go hmmmm. I think the true testament of "25 Hours A Day" was portrayed on the air in the company of Judas Priest, Krokus, and Cheap Trick on Fallen Rock Zone Radio last night. You rock too big for Ourstage.
