I can hear that you probably could do much more with your voice. Don't be afraid to put some stank on it! Find a band because without a band, it ain't funky and it ain't soulful. Lyrics are cliche. I think you've got it in you, but this one is weak. Consider learning a mess of Aretha Franklin songs and mimicking her for the sake of developing vocal strength. Stop playing it safe.
