i love this song and y'all's sound. some folks are just too narrowed minded to appreciate real music. if they can't pigeon hole it... and more importantly apparently, is if they can find a way to dismiss it. they've been dismissing the greats from day one. name one that "fit" the so-called judges of the day and you're likely naming a member of the hall of fame.
these same judges are who ruined country music: they made it all sound alike.
keep making unique sounds. it's what makes it worthwhile.
