I wrote this song by combining old themes I had written for a sci-fi story I was working on. Aside from being about my story, it's a general reflection of science fiction stories like Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. What an epic story! Many of the books have different characters, as the plot covers centuries, but Asimov still managed to make it memorable and not feel like a history book.
