Heal the Nations

by Angelica Frances

Religion no matter what label it wears or what guise it hides under has had its hand in the slaughtering of millions of people across the face of this earth. Ironically its the innocent that are murdered people who do not bare arms. Each day we live we have free choice to make a difference in that day.Jesus fought violently that we might enter eternity. We cannot afford to have hatred of race's or unforgiveness in our hearts to reach people. We are the voice of change.

So is your message that religion should not encourage violence, while admitting that it often has and still does? It seem that religion is more often than not the cause rather than the solution to the world's misery. Understand that there is no God and no afterlife, and suddenly Humanity and Life seem so much more precious. As an atheist, I don't need an imaginary friend to tell me that killing is wrong - it is obvious. We only have one life each, and that life is a priceless gift from Nature. Remove somebody's life, and you have removed their existence forever.

Go in Peace.
