"Alive in me" is my best attempt to understand losing someone. Death, breakup, or just time apart, "Alive in me" is how I feel about anyone that I've lost. No matter what, other people will be kept alive by memories and thoughts. I wrote this song as a way to find comfort in losing the physical reality of someone; it made me realize that regardless if someone is there or not, they can be kept "alive" within you.
