Our Destination

by Bote

Written by Tim Keeley, this song depicts the hard life of a sailor. Of course it doesn't remain that only sailors travel far from loved ones and home, so this song isn't really all about sailing.

All music evolved from the first music ever made. And I'm sure the Scots Irish settlers music owes its life blood to someone else also. But the fact is, many years ago, man decided to categorize music by it's different sounds. And this channel supports the Traditional Country Music sound. If you had done your research, and listened to about 10 of the top songs on this channel you would see that yours dosn't really fit hear.

No harm done. Like you said, you've learned your lesson.

Just trying to reinforce that roots music goes deeper than country twang. Sorry if this isn't what anyone would categorise as such, I learned my lesson. Either way, country owes it's life blood to the scots irish settlers in the Appalachian mountains. Without them bluegrass would never have come through in the light it is now.

No it's not, but the word "roots" is in the description. If you do your research you'll see that celtic folk music is the root of bluegrass, which is the root of country. In a sense this is more rootsy than what is probably typical on this channel.
