This song was written after I went through a rough breakup. Even though I didn't want things to end at the time, I took my newfound freedom to be an opportunity to pursue things in life that had been on the back burner for way too long. Its strange that no matter how crappy the other person may have treated you, you still miss them sometimes after its all over.
