BOOGER
by The AC Thundertones
This song got it's name from my grandkid Allie. She asked "Papa? What kind of piano is that?" I answered "It's called Boogie hon." She looked at me and said laughing "It's called Booger????" and the rest is history. I was fooling around with the sequencer on my Yamaha Motif 7 Synth and wanted to see how well it recorded without using any studio etc. So...This is a piano tune called BOOGER that was recorded entirely on a Yamaha Motif 7 Synth. Hope you enjoy it.

Anyway, the thing for me about this tune is that it was recorded ENTIRELY on an onboard sequencer on my YAMAHA MOTIF 7 SYNTH! I didn't even drop the tune into SONAR or Pro-Tools to mix it nor did I Master it in WAVELAB which I do for most of our T-Tones songs. Nope! THIS tune was recorded, mixed, effects added and mastered totally on the Yamaha Motif synth and I just took out the SIM card and transferred the tune here to OURSTAGE.
The other thing for me about this tune is where it got it's name. As I said before my little grand daughter Allie was watching me when I was making the tune.
I told her that "This is BOOGIE piano playing Allie." She then looked at me laughing and said "BOOGER Music Papa?" and the name just stuck from there. From the mouths of babe's ya know.
I love my grand kids and That's what makes life so fun. It's all about the things that live and breathe. Everything else pales in comparison.
The late George Carlin said it perfectly:
"Life is not measured by the amount of breaths we take. It is measured by the moments that take our breath away."
Well done George. Well done.
