This was the last song that I recorded on my album of the same name. It is the most stripped down song on the album, done in one take. I wrote it about someone that I knew who was getting thrown into some really self destructive habits after being in an abusive relationship. She was trapped in a whirlwind of love and hate and was desparately holding on. I love the intimacy of this track and it really resonates with a lot of people when I play it live.
