Spoken Word/Perf.Poetry is what you are doing right here. A true Poet/Performer is an artist that stands on the stage with only a microphone and his or her words, WITH NO MUSIC, FIREWORKS, OR FRILLS!!!! YOU DO THAT!!! AND YOU DO IT VERY WELL!!!!!!!!!! And it´s NOT EASY to do. Only the truly GIFTED can do it. YOU CAN!!!! THIS IS THE TRUE MEANING OF SPOKEN WORD/PERFORMANCE/POETRY!!!!!!
This has to be one of the most heartfelt, spiritual and uplifting pieces on OurStage as of yet. In the first few lines, I could feel in my spirit exactly who you were speaking of. The ears of our youth are starving for messages such as these and I appreciate the fact that it's acapella so that your voice and passion stands out even MORE. Thank you.

I'm a lyricst/poet w/a song in chistian spiritual. BUT that was a long shot collaboration. I only write words. so this catagory is a revelation to me. look for my stuff starting in a few minutes. and keep takin' HIM up, he deserves it!! now I gotta listen to SUPERHERO again!!!
