to me, the tempo-stumbling is the fun about it. I love it; really makes me smile

I really like the song, but play it at a manageable tempo. Or perhaps start at a pace you can play well and then keep speeding up until the meter disintegrates. At least then the listener has a frame of reference.

It's a great song, and just a little slower, it would be possible to get all the words out. Flake plays very well in a good Country Blues semi ragtime style.
