Tom Knox produced my band's first album. He was Toto's engineer and co-producer. I think he would be pleased with this version. ( Although, he came up with the chourous harmonies and would probably want them to come in hot on the hook LOL !)

If you drop the drums and put the voice upfront whilst giving the backing vocals a little breathing room in the mix you will find your rendition could even be classifed as excellent.

Fun song, bad mix. I'll bet this is fun live. Harmonies could be a little tighter also. The talent is there but something is off.especially when the women drop in. I think it is the mix.
