I wrote "Memories Wrapped In Songs" as a tribute to my good friend Jim Dawson, WMAD's "Dixie Drifter". Jim was known for "Don't You Buy No Ugly Truck", "Big Black Bug Boogie" and other songs. When he passed on local artists put together a tribute album. "Memories Wrapped In Songs" became the title of the album.
