This song actually sprang into existence during one of the first really warm days of this summer, which happened to be a day off for me. The first half of this song is meant to evoke imagery of a quiet, lazy summer afternoon, whereas the second part is meant as a hopeful, optimistic look into the future once the real summer comes around. All in all, it's a very intimate and introspective piece for me, one could say it's my most personal piece.
