This poured out as I sat at my piano and stared intently at the toy soldier on my keychain. I had been doing concerts in detention centers and was feeling overwhelmed by the pain in the world. In this song one can so clearly hear the Divine Father's heartfelt answer in the precious vulnerability of the question itself; its just a raw confession of need. Even Jesus wept, was grieved and spent at times. How can we ever get to know the real and living God if we won't be real ourselves?
