On The Bus

by Nakia & His Southern Cousins

On The Bus was written in the summer of 2007 while I was without personal transportation and forced to ride the Austin CapMetro bus line. In order to get to and fro, it required me to wake up a lot earlier than normal and I was usually seated next to some pretty interesting characters, even including the bus drivers themselves. This song takes those experiences and puts them into a raw and funky place that feels good and shakes.

This is a feel good song. It makes you want to drive nowhere just to listen to it in the car or smile for no reason. Well written and conceived indeed. Great Job.
