Drift is a song that was built in a live setting. We had an array of parts and to find out how it would sound we'd play the song live and jam it out to build new parts. Playing unfinished material live is something we pride ourselves on because it allows the fans to see the development of a song. After we get the song to a point we all enjoy, then we write lyrics.
