Awesome? Yes! First 30 seconds are. But then - I agree with one of previous comments. You sold all you had in minute, and it kinda dies down after that. If it was shorter - would be much better. Still - good sound!
When song started - I said WOW! What a rich sound, what sharp playing. I liked it immediately, listened attentively - and then... something weird happens around 1:20 - like lead guitar is a bit lost, the pressure falls down. It slowly gets better again, then once more around 2:25 pressure dies. It would be FANTASTIC, but it sadly is not. When I listened twice, i also noticed that the solo is not built in really best way, to keep listeners getting more and more - seems a bit flat. Then, drums give guitarist relatively little support, just keeping time, not adding enough to the heat.
Don't take me wrong. By standards seen here - it is very good. But judging by "as good as blues can ever be" - and hearing how you play - I am SURE you can do better. Much better. You can really do a killer song. And - I look forward to hear your perfect piece. Good luck!
