Sliding Down Rainbows (Full Version)

by Cathie Fredrickson

I wrote this song for a girl friend after sharing many good as well as tough times together. She suffered with cerebral palsy, and this song for her really lifted her spirits.

I like that you ally yourself with your friend and that you make clear that it is the spirit for joy and creativity rather than the afflictions of the body that are important in this life. I also like that there is only passing reference to your friend being wheelchair bound. This is a love song of support and should be gifted (loaned?) to an anti-stigma website to spread the word and your philosophy.
Thanks so much for posting this. Big Fan here. David Waldman

There's a positive vibe with everything Cathie Fredrickson ~ especially a positively gorgeous voice. It's more than just well sung, as it is the voice of the truly beautiful people, with a spirit that defines the best parts of humanity, & it's just as clear to see the wind blowing in your hair when you're "Sliding Down Rainbows" as it is to feel the soul inside of what's become your very own, undeniable, personal signature style.
