BIG HAT, by Harrison Brown on OurStage Play

BIG HAT

by Harrison Brown

This song pokes fun at all the suburban, urban and country cowboy-wannabes who think wearing cowboy boots and hats makes them some sort of Alpha-males, rather than the sad momma's boys many of them are. Cowboys laugh at those "big hat, no cows" fakers.

Well-produced track, Cool guitar solo. Especially like the vocals and the lyrics with the tongue-in-cheek message. Added to favorites.

Great song! Your voice is a good mix for this song. And, being from a Blues background, I can hear it as a slow shuffle. And I'm also a Neil Young fan. One of the songs on my CD(in process) has a 'Cowgirl In The Sand' guitar and beat to it. This songa has that also.

I'm also in favor, being from Texas, of putting a light on the "cowboys" that wouldn't know the difference between a horse and a Harley.

Keep up the great sounds, JohnLatch

In the fifties, my Dad used to see a car and say; "Seven Aerials and no radio!" And he was right because the "look" was more important than the function.
Not true of you! Very AUTHENTIC sound and some solid lyrics. Thanks for sharing.
