After living the majority of my life in small towns I moved to a large city in the midwest looking for employment. One of the things that struck me most is the fact that there are many homeless people and winters are brutal in this area. This song represents my feelings and thoughts on a subject that I knew existed but had never seen first hand until now. Hopefully I have painted a clear picture and the listener can see in their minds eye the things I have seen.
