This is a love song about driving country roads in Texas. I wrote it for an old boyfriend during a period in my life when I was waiting tables and trying to write songs full time. People would ask me what I was going to do with my life and I had no idea at the time, hence the opening lines "I don't have a single answer for all the questions people love to ask. . ."
