It always amazes me to think that God doesn't see us for who we are, but instead He looks at us through the lens of the cross of Christ. Seeing only the work Jesus did to free us from our sin and shame. Romans 5:1-2 Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
