"A Good Time" was written about an ex-boyfriend that I was pretty sure was cheating on me at the time. Woman’s instinct, I guess. My co-writer, Stephen Simmons, had the title and part of a verse. I had the unfortunate real-life inspiration. That’s talented singer/songwriter Mando Saenz singing harmony (along with me, trying to do my best "Emmylou" high harmony) :)
