This is a song about salvation; about letting Him in. Like many people, there were times early in my life where I considered a relationship with Christ, but didn’t commit. Since walking through that door, nothing has been the same. The lyrics for the first verse came to me after I watched ‘The Passion of the Christ.’ I thought how amazing and scary it must have been to chosen to carry the child of God – ‘to be the one to hold the one who saved me from myself.
