I originally wrote this piece as a demo track for a short film - about a woman who loses her husband in a carcrash. The scene is where she has just come home from the hospital to an empty house, finds his tie sitting on the bathroom counter and she just breaks down and cries. I have performed this as a solo piano piece for concerts, but enjoy it even more with the orchestra and choirs to add the extra emotion.
