I hear a bit of a Joni Mitchell influence in this song, with some interesting dissonant chords and some cross-rhythm singing. It's a song that grew on me as it went along, the lyrics are good and they give an impression of a real person behind the song.
It should have been mastered a little louder, and I would have brought the voice a bit "nearer"- the reverb is a little cold.
