Bravo !!

a song of our time? no heroic Hudson landing. wind, piano, undulating voice and radio chatter invoking mood of flying the troubled sky and question if the pilot will get home. no glamour, no crescendo, plane lands, pilot fades into the night. song grows more on me the more I listens

I enjoyed the anti-climax, there's a moment of guitar with a piano build, but instead of going into a huge Romantic Symphonic build the true forshadower of things to come are the little white noise glitches that sound throughout the song, leading to the AM radio-ish resolution.

The Void certainly is compelling, but the suspense it offers does not pay off big enough. Still I'd listen to them again.
