This song was inspired by one of my favorite MC's of all time, Common. He came out with a song called, " I used to love her" in the early nineties around the time of hte beginning of Gangsta Rap and I always wanted to write a continuation of the idea to show where Hip Hop is today. With the current state of Hip Hop, I felt it was the perfect time for the people to hear "I still do"'.
